Do API Calls to the Qlik Sense Engine from outside a Browser consume Tokens?

Do API Calls to the Qlik Sense Engine from outside a Browser consume Tokens?

Do we need to worry about someone in our company calling the API directly and draining our tokens?

Thanks,

Chris

hello,

the answer is "it depends". some API access will consume accesstypes (tokens), but a lot won't. typically if you are opening apps for any reasons (for example reloads) you need an accesstype, but for example management access does not.

hope this helps!
