Employee Capacity App

Hi!!!

I need to develop an app that will show employee capacity by team, by project, etc. We are loading a data file that is updated daily from the SmartSheet. There will be a column with weekly hours which will serve as a measure to calculate capacity, however target capacity of 40-45 hours will be a set target(not in the data source file). Are there any apps on capacity anyone has built and can share with me? I am not sure where to even begin. The idea is that the data will be shown in a form of a bar chart and tables: that when the team or individual employee is under/over capacity it will either color code (green/red) or will give some other indication.

Any ideas/ information will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,

People have shared wonderful apps in the Qlik Gallery (see link)

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Gallery/bg-p/qlik-gallery

but I think that, if possible, try and develop your own app. the app in the gallery (and all qlik Sense apps) will have different names, datamodels, etc.

if you develop the app yourself, know how the data should look like. also if you run into any issues you can post questions on the forums

but these apps are great if you want some inspiration.

@qliknewbie111  as @MartW  mentioned you can definitely visit Qlik Gallery and take some Ideas. But if you need some help, please share the sample data. I can try to help you out with Dashboard and later you can make changes as per your need.

Thank you so much! I am attaching a sample data file. Could you please help me with the data load editor part, i believe i need to use cross tab since weeks will be updated monthly and in a form of a column, but I need to have them as rows in qlik, since hours is my measure? Also, i believe i need to group by resource or create a table in qlik that will have Target hours(40-45) and Actual hours that will be updated weekly.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
