Enabling automatic access to stream in qlik sense

Dear Experts,

I have created two streams and corresponding custom properties .

My Qlik sense version is Sep 2020

I want to give access to 10,000 users to these two stream automatically without manually enabling the custom property for each of the users.

Let me know how this can be achieved.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Regards

Raj

Hi Raj,

You can either move those dashboards to Everyone Stream, or you can set the same security rule as the "Everyone" stream has.

Here is the security rule.

Hi Kaushik,

Just wanted what could be the approach for handling 28000 users access Stream wise.

My scenario is  i have 7 department wise stream and all the HO Stake holders should see all 7 streams .

But then i have departments who should see streams specific to their department

I created custom property in which i included all custom property specific to streams and custom security rule.

Only challenge is manually i have to assign the custom property to each user which i don't want as this i have to do for 28000 users.

Is there any security rule and custom property combination which can handle this automatically without manual intervention.

Hi, how the rule will know the department of each user? something must identify the deparment of the user.

If they have an AD group you can use this group to set the security rule.

There is also the option to use a specific code that uses APIs to assign custom properties, but also to programatically assign the department value to each user, something must be needed to identify the department of each user on the code.
