We are having more than 10+ Fields used in the filter pane and enabled a maximize option to the select the data. When ever the user selects the maximize the Filter options its taking 10+ seconds to display the records and the object level filters is taking very long time to open the search option.
How many records do you return in your app? Do all of the filters take a long time to load or only one or two? If only one or two, are the fields referenced by these affected filters loaded only in a single 'fact' table? How many tables do you have in your data model?
It would be easier to investigate if you zipped and posted your app.
