Filtering data based on Chart Expressions ? How

We have excel and there are too many expression using which we have chart displayed on dashboards.

There are 2 types of data - 1. Valid 2. Invalid

There is a column/field named as Total Amount (Amount of valid and invalid entries)

But i need to filter out invalid from the expression and shall have only valid amount under Total Amount column.
Any suggestions here.. How we can do this.

I mean Total Amount shall have values of Valid entries only. Is there easy option based on field name and some condition

e.g. Sum({< Type = {'Valid'} >} [Total Amount]) would include only Type = Valid. For more information, check the documentation under "Set analysis".
