Can any one tell me how to write this sql command in Code area of a field here

Select * from RVW_Modified_Sheet where Type = 'Assets'

OR

Select * RVW_Modified_Sheet where account_code like '10%'

btw i tried an if statement and it didn't work

=if(Type = 'Assets' , SUM(Balance) , 0 )
