HI,
I would like to know if it is possible to create a "link" of an email address. Once clicking on the email address say "hello@example.com", it would redirect me to windows outlook for me to send an email. I hope to create a table of email addresses of which users can click this to reply emails immediately.
I can't check it now, but I would try to use table, set dimmension to: ='mailto:' & FieldWithEmail, and change 'Representation' option to URL - it's just under Text align option.
Tomasz
Hi Tomasz,
Thank you so much for the reply! However, I've tried what you mentioned but after changing the representation to URl, once clicked, it redirects me to a new chrome browser. Do you have any idea why?
Nicholas
That's the way I though it would work - redirecting to default browser and then browser should redirect to default e-mail client. For me pasting 'mailto:email@something.pl' into IE's address bar starts Outlook.
Hi. Probably Chrome is set as a default program to open such links. Change it to Outlook or whatever software you are using for sending mails.
Is it working?
Hi Tomasz.
It is working.
Can you please let me know the steps to change the settings
