How do unlock a QVD that is locked

An app was doing a STORE command to store data into a QVD, but the process failed and the QVD is locked.   The qlik service was restarted but the QVD still remains locked.    We are using qlik sense v 3.1

How can I unlock the QVD.

Thanks

Todd

Vineeth, obviously that is what I am trying to do, but the QVD is locked.  I need to unlock the QVD before I can successfully write to the QVD.  Thus the question.

Option 1)Move the locked QVD to another location

Option 2)Store QVD with a different name to avoid the conflict, after the new file is saved, delete the old one and rename as original file

You cannot move or rename a locked QVD.

Try it with restarting the whole server to terminate any windows-handle on this file.
