How do you handle dates? Calendars seems to be unreliable

What do you use to pick dates? I have tried calendar range picker (https://developer.qlik.com/garden/5697a878dcc497f80ed514bf) - love it - but apparently, some of the users have troubles selecting dates i.e. it doesn't seem to be responsive on a mouse click. Apart from it, I downloaded other available simple versions: 

 1. https://developer.qlik.com/garden/5ac921580f9f4d1cc1e0c168- have no idea. I don't speak whatever language it is written for.

2.https://developer.qlik.com/garden/569f6139fcd6601422492c48- doesn't work.

3. https://developer.qlik.com/garden/56be3cee69a793507f22f9df - doesn't work

Do you use a simple filter pane?

At the moment, I am using https://github.com/ClimberAB/ClimberSelectionBar and it seems to be responsive. It might not be that customizable as the Date Range picker, but it satisfies the basic requirement.
