How to create a button which when clicked will download specific data

I want to know how to create a button in qliksense which when clicked will download the part of the source data in excel. I cannot create such button. Please help me with the same.

As far as I know, there is no option to do this with the native Qlik Sense button. You can only download data from an object.

In Qlik Sense February 2023, you might be able to achieve this using Execute Automation option if you have access to Qlik Application Automation. I don't, so I'm not sure.

Some extensions, such as Vizlib Button, do offer the functionality to download data from one or more master items when clicked. You could also create your own fairly easily, I believe, using the API call to download data from an object (ExportData, I think).
