How to find current month sales or count vs last year current month sales or count.

Please help me out i m new to qliksense.
I want to know 
current month sales = __nos.
previous month sales = __nos.

i want to know the expression for this and i want to add these text in text box chart.

Hello ,

Provide some more information about data.

if you have date field then use below expression

current month sales =  Sum({<month={"$(=Month(Floor(Today())))"}>}Sales).
previous month sales = Sum({<month={"$(=Month(AddMonth(Floor(Today())),-1))"}>}Sales).

I personally like to use flags in my Master Calendar to make out key periods, then i can just used the flags to calculate any set analysis using the flags
