We have a sales fact table that now includes percentages for operating costs, distribution costs & other COGS determined from our management accounts. This was achieved by creating a seperate table with all the different cost categories and monthly periods and then finally joined this to the main table via a unique key. The costs are determined by sales channel and not individual customer but once loaded to sales table, individual customers have their costs assigned according to their sales channel.
This all works perfectly but I have just one customer that is uses a completely different business model and I need to overwrite this customer only with different percentages. I can't do this via sales channel as this cutomer is the same channel as customers we supply from the UK but we supply them directly in China so the cost structure is completely different.
How can I achieve this?
