How to set up a mailto button in Sense

I want to make a button that will run the mailto function to send emails in Sense.

I have tried the navigation button in the dashboard bundle extension, which was released in the Nov 2018 version.

However although the navigation function includes "open a website / eMail" option, the email function never works for me.

Have you tried with the new standard button object?  I have just looked into this for a customer, and apparently the button has a strange syntax should be a  pair of // like this: ='mailto://myemail@somewhere.com'.  This has now been filed as a bug by the product manager, to ensure it uses the standard going forward.
