Issue : Configuration of Netezza OLEDB-ODBC Driver into QlikSense November 2018

Hello,

We need to connect Qlik Sense to an IBM Netezza database, for this we have installed the Netezza OLEDB driver on a Central node. The installation/configuration went well, then we created the user DSN/System DSN with the database connection information.

We tested the connection through an application and the test was succeded, however we found that users do not have access to this connection to load tables. We tried to create a new application based on this data connection, but we no longer have the list of Netezza users .

Conclusion: The connection string was assigned to the user who created the application, i.e. one token per user and per application.

  • QlikSense release: November 2018 patch 1
  • Driver Version: IBM Netezza 64bit v.11.2.2.1
