Qlik newbie here, I'm wondering if there is a way to kill a stuck task. Periodically, our loads die when a task will be stuck in started status. Through the ui, try to stop the task, but it just stays hung. Only way to clear it and get other jobs to start is to reboot the server.
just wondering if a powershell or batch file exists to blow away a task.
I believe you are talking about reload task in Sense QMC.
Have you tried refreshed the page?
Have you checked the log file, what did it say?
I don't think you need to restart the whole server, restarting the Scheduler Service should solve this:
A refresh doesn't resolve the issue, the task itself stays in started status for hours. Wondering if there is a way to 1. Identify the task stuck 2. Kill that task without restarting server\service?
I'm a DBA, never worked with Qlik before so I'm still trying to figure how it works and what tools\scripting I can use to help some of the everyday processes.
