Line Chart Date Dimension Formatting

Hi all,

is there is any bug in line chart dimension 

i want show the date dimension(x axis) as MMM-YY, but this is not working fine in line chart ,but in the bar chart its working fine.

i given the date format condition as date(field,'MMM-YY'), this is working fine in bar but not in line

is this is a bug,pls suggest

Same for me. date() function doesn't work on line chart for some reason.
