List of Variables In App

I'm trying to document an app that I've built and one of the things I need is to explain all the variables I'm using. Is there any way to produce a list of variables that I can copy out as text (by putting in a table, etc)?

I've got some code that creates a table listing all table and field names but I can't find a way to do the same thing with variables.

Hi, for similar thing quite useful tool I'm using is Chrome extension 'Add sense'. With it you can extract lists of all master dimensions, measures, tables and variables too used in app.

Thanks, that looks interesting. Unfortunately I'm not sure my company will allow me to install extensions. I'll check it out though.

You can try Qollect - my free Qlik Sense extension that pulls app metadata (Measures, Dimensions, Fields, Charts, Variables, Sheets) and exports it to Excel.
