Max Date Default value

hi, 

• Dear QS knowledgeable parties...

  I'm looking for a solution for the following request :

  In my QS App I have a sheet where I show a list of Values belonging to a Date Field.

  I want that As Soon as my sheet is opened the Max Date Value has to be Selected by Default..

  If the user wants another Date Value he or her will still have the possibility to unselect the current selected Date and choose another Date..

  This is the current sheet:(First attached image)

  

  It doesn'nt work aAs if I use the Field Parameter slecting the Date field as shown.. (it's alway the Min date that is selected..)

Thanks Yes I agree with you ... This track seems to be the right one , without having to use to much script..

But.. In my case I have to compare and select to the Max Value of the Date of the field date that I'm listing itself!

For information someone told me to use a Set Analysis.. but how and where?

Hi,

yes it will be done by set.

For that we have to create variable for max date, then call the variable in set expression.

Create variable as decorated below:

vMaxdate =Max(Name of the date field)

Then sum({$ Date field = {$(='vMaxdate')}>} Measure) in chart function.
