Hello
we got an on-premise Qlik sense installation
we have a dashboard in our company with so many users using it
these users create their own sheets and some publish them as community ones
the thing is that when I open the dashboard I see 207 sheets uner My Own while they are not mine but for other users
I cann access them
I cannot delete them of course
so why I'm seeing them?
the same applies to other users they are seeing all sheets
Hello,
a custom rule (or a tweaked default one) that says: "If you can see the App, you can see all Objects inside it." Since those 207 sheets aren't "published" to the public yet, Qlik doesn't know where to put them, so it just dumps them into your My Sheets view by default. To fix it, your Admin needs to go into the QMC Security Rules and make sure the rule for App Objects includes a condition that says: Care Credit (resource.published="true" or resource.owner=user).
this doesn't happen to other dashboards
only in two dashboards
so the security rules apply to all apps and only 2 have this issue
I do support @herry067broof suggestion, please note that a security rule can pinpoint all, a group of or a single app. So reach out to to your Qlik Sense RootAdmin or SecurityAdmin so they can check this for you.
An other potential answer to why you only see this in two apps could be that it is only in those two app other users are creating their own sheets.
this is the security rule on AppObjects:
