Navigation Menu Object Icons

Hi there,

When you use the Navigation Menu Object, one of the options is to 'use icons'. But all the icons are the same, and I can't see a way to change them anywhere?

This post is really the only info I can find on the Nav Menu:
https://community.qlik.com/t5/Design/Exploring-the-new-Navigation-Menu-object/ba-p/2496637

And in it is a screenshot of what I'm trying to achieve:

Any maybe doing this is just better, a layout container with buttons... In fact, yes, it definitely is. Ok, well, all the same. The questions stands,

How do I change the icons? I'm 80% sure the answer is just going to be 'you cant' and that it's a somewhat useless feature, but I'm hoping that's not the case?

Hi @Richard_Norris

I agree - Using the layout container you have all the flexibility, however maintaining this can be tricky.

I see there is a background image URL but this seems to be bound to the object and not the individual items. So here is your answer "you cant" .... hahaha

Hahah,

Ok, well thanks so much for confirming!

Yeah, ok, well time to look into the container object method then!
