Hi expert, i would like to know how use this extension in sense
is there any .qar ? or what i need?
Thank you a lot
Fernando
Hi Fernando - the BETA had a pretty straight forward hookup to openstreetmaps.
The GA version (1.0) is more powerful but you need to refer to the help for samples of how you enter the URL:
Here is a snippet from the help link:
If , for example, you have added a point layer with the major cities in the world, you normally want to have a background map to show the context.
Do the following:
Name | URL | Attribution string |
---|---|---|
OpenStreetMap | http://tile.openstreetmap.org/${z}/${x}/${y}.png | © OpenStreetMap contributors |
Is there any page to get this and more extension?
thank you!
You can get, and contribute, to a great selection of extensions created so far at http://branch.qlik.com/
Well, the great news is that in Qlik Sense, Mapping with OpenStreetMap is out of the box - no extension required
You can find the Qlik tutorial video on Mapping from Michael Tarallo here: http://community.qlik.com/videos/2031
Hi Brian, i see the video but the difference is that when michael use the Open street maps as provider(select the property of the map) in my qlik sense version does not appear this option, i suposee that i need something else to add in my app
thank you a lot

help.qlik.com is a good place to start. The above link is valid for v2.1
