Open Without Data

Many of our developers keep copies of large applications in their work space.  If I open an app without data, does it reduce the size of the application?

Hi @jerryhelms2017

Yes, when you open the app without the data, and save it, the app has their data purged, but developers can´t use the interface to create objects cause it has no data to show.

If you open an application without data, that application will take up only a minimum of memory (RAM). If you export or save an application without data, it will also shrink to the minimum required to store the actual application structure and object information. This is typically going to be in the ballpark of a few hundred KB to perhaps a few MB on disk, whereas an application with data can easily be 100MB, 1GB, or more depending on the amount and types of data it stores.
