I'm using the native Qlik Sense Pivot Table. I have 4 row-levels of dimensions. There are occasions where, for valid reasons, there is no 3rd or 2nd level between the 1st level and the 4th level (detail-level). I want to skip level display in that case -- I do not want a null expander, looks sloppy.
For Rows there is a "Show column if" (why "columns", doesn't Qlik mean "rows" here?!) condition calculation. For my 3rd level if I enter "0=1" as the condition calculation. All 3rd level rows are hidden. If I try to do this against a specific row though (e.g. "only([Row Level 2]) = 'DO NOT DISPLAY'") it still shows the row I want to hide. (And if I turn all [Row Level 2] values = 'DO NOT DISPLAY' it hides all level 2 rows!)
Worst case I can put filler in the fields -- but the requirement is to not show those levels.
I could use a flavor of straight table and force my own formatting more (e.g. P&L pivot, or maybe something from Vizlib), but the native Qlik Pivot Table object is so close to meeting my needs.
