QLIK SENSE ERROR: UNSUPPORTED FILE FORMAT ERROR

Hello,

When I open the app, unsupported file format error appears.

I tried to duplicate the app in QMC console, but I get the same  "unsupported file format error".

@Krystian unfortunately that means the app is corrupted.

It would be needed to restore a backup of the app.

Hi @Krystian,

This could mean app is corrupted.

You could check below article about similar issue:

Benoit

The app file is damaged and cannot be opened by the Qlik Sense Engine.

  1. Export the app, and reimport it
If this works then corruption may be related to document objects that are not part of the main app, such as private sheets or bookmarks.
  2. Open the app without data, and save it as an empty app.
If the empty app can be reloaded, then the corruption may have been related to the data part of the app file.

It doesn't work, I'm unable to reproduce first step due to an error.

I can't open app without data because app is published.

The error message is similar to the one I received when I was attempting to duplicate the app.

@Krystian right after having tried to export the app, what do you find the in trace system engine log (C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Engine\Trace\SERVERNAME_System_Engine) ?
