Qlik Action: Set value in field, but for a given State (Alternate State)

hoping someone can help, I am trying to set a value in a field using Sheet action, but I don't want it to apply to the default state, I want to apply the selection to a specific state. Any ideas how I can do this?

I've tried using the various "Select value in field..." Options but with no luck

I've used Field = X

and value = ='("01")'

and it works, but I'm looking for the filter to apply for AlternateState1:X = 01

Go down to the Appearance section and under Alternate states you can pick the state you are applying this action to.

Thanks @Lisa_P , thanks for this idea, I did think about this, but this will mean everything on the page will be attributed to that alternate state.

I should have added to my original query, I have set another action that needs to be set to default state, so yes can't apply the whole sheet to AlternateState1
