Hi,
On Qlik Sense I have a map with an area layer, is it possible to hide the label "area layer" (= "couche de zone" in the screenshot). I want only the legend
Just try , on map attributes / Appereance/Legend and uncheck show legend.
Hope it helps
Regards
Uncheck hide also the color repartition and I want to keep it
If this is a Geo Analytics Area Layer, you can go under Legend in the appearance section and uncheck Show Icon title and Icon. This will leave just the legend.
@Steven_Haught unfortunately not, I'm using native qlik sense map
Hi Michaels,
I was trying to remove it using css, but didn't suceed. I first thought it worked - and it does in the edit mode - but I think the css child changes when we go to view mode.
Basically I use a multi-KPI to change the css.
This is the style I used in the image below is:
.qv-object-map-chart .sbHorizontal>.sidebar>.legend, .qv-object-map .sbHorizontal>.sidebar> .legend-object div:nth-child(2)
{display:none}
But again, it only displays none in edit mode:
If you find the css element for that, let us know.
If you want to see more about this css trick, here is a video.
In the Color section try setting the label to this: = ' '
This will not remove the total layer label but will leave only the legend within the layer.
Thank you for your time @Steven_Haught but I want to hide the text "Area Layer" not only the label measure 🙂 I want (if it's possible .. maybe it's not) to keep only the color repartition
Unfortunatly, I don't think it is possible to turn that portion of in that chart. What version of Qlik are you on?
Could be a great idea suggestion. Or maybe @Patric_Nordstrom do you know of a way to turn this off in the native map chart?
