Hi Community,
one of our consultants has recently upgrade to Qlik Sense Desktop v2.1.1. When attempting to open files created in the previous version (sorry don't know the version no.), they get the following error message displayed:

Andy Ideas please?
This is pretty urgent as we are demonstrating Sense to a client later today.

Hi,
I've experienced the same behavior. In my case Qlik Sense was running multiple times, so open your task manager, look for any Qlik Sense process and kill them. Then try opening your app again.
Hi Andrew - let us know how you do - and if Torben's suggestion has helped.
Please mark the appropriate replies as CORRECT / HELPFUL so our team and other members know that your question(s) has been answered to your satisfaction.

Hi Andrew,
I have a faced an error like this before. There is nothing to worry about, just restart the "Qliksense Repository Database" which restarts all the services in Qliksense and once done you should be able to do things the same way again.
Hope this helps!

'Fraid not, user had restarted to not avail.
