Not sure if this is the right board for this question, but that is another question 🙂
I am trying to execute some batch files in my load script on my Qlik sense server.
Feel like I have read every post available about this subject,. but can´t seem to get it to work.
I am trying to
Execute cmd /C powershell -command D:\Routines\Copy_by_header_time.ps1;
And getting
The following error occurred:
EXECUTE statement requires Script (Allow Database Write and Execute Statements) in User Preferences settings
All settings are set to what the Qlik help and community suggested.
My ps1 file is stored in the "Table files root directory"
In the following link it is explained how to enable legacy mode in a Sense Server
An update to this issue is that I have tried to add the setting.ini file to the folder C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\Engine (is was not present like in Qlik sense desktop)
The settings.ini file contains :
[Settings 7]
OverrideScriptSecurity=1
AllowExecuteCommand=1
I have also restarted all services with no result
Tried restarting everything as each attempt, without any result.
I have a hard time finding anything about Qlik sense server and Powershell, so maybe Powershell does not work with the Qlik sense server April 2019 edition?
@varmekontrol did you ever resolve this? I'm having the same issue.
Hi, I am having the same problem to go from standard to legacy mode on a sense server. Were you able to solve that issue?
Hello Nicole-Smith, I have the same problem. Have you resolved this problem ?
Thanks
