Hi - I'm having the darndest time with a folder connection.
I've connected the folder.
I'm trying to STORE the contents of a table into the *qvd file.
Everyone has write permissions to the folder behind the \\FolderConnection data connection.
Attached is a screen shot.

Not sure why uswin_v374914 is coming next to the connection name.
i assume you tried deleting the folder and adding again with same name.

(uswin_v374914) - for some reason it's appending my userid.

		Found it!
I had to go into the QMC
Take off the uswin_v374914 that was being appended to the FolderConnection name.
I'm not sure HOW it got appended there (other than uswin_v374914) is my user id - but what a nuisance.
Thanks for the help out there.

Yep, that is what I was trying to say.
For whatever reason, if you create/edit a connection in the load editor it will appent your userid to the name of the connection. You are right it is super annoying. I usually go into the qmc right away and change the name before I use it.
