QlikView pittfalls when starting in Sense?

Hi, old QlikView developer setting out to develop in Qlik Sense.
Somewhere I saw a link to a tutorial pointing out things developers experienced in QlikView try doing which they should avoid in Sense.

Don't remember where I saw it and can't find it neither in the forums nor on Google.

Anybody know what I might be thinking of and can point me in the right direction?

Hey there,

There are a couple of things that in Qlik Sense you should avoid as opposed with QlikView:

• Trying to make Horizontal Combo Charts;
• Trying to use section access in Qlik Sense Desktop;
• Trying to make this kind of charts: Mekko, Radar, Slider/Calendar;
• Trying to make button with some VB macro in it;
• Trying to make a Slider/Calendar object;
• Trying to use multilanguage labels in every chart you make;
• Trying to make a background image in your sheet;
• Trying to make a container with more that one chart in it;
• Trying to make Trellis Chart in a Bar or Line Chart;
• ...

Many other examples can be described that Qlik Sense doesn't have capability to do.

a few things to think about and I think I knew most of them.

Think the tutorial was named 'Don't build QlikView apps in Qlik Sense' or something similar?
I did not read/watch it at the time but thought I would follow up on it later.
Only problem is I can no longer find it.
Therefore I don't know what it contained and I can't tell if you covered the information or not.

Thanks, yes I saw those and browsed through some of them but there is not the one I was looking for.
Never the less it is a good starting point.
