Rendering of buttons on mobile app

Hello community,

I'm new to Qlik sense. I Hope someone can help me with the visual rendering of buttons on mobile.

On web I have this view, which is pretty satisfying:

When I switch to mobile up, the sizing of the button is too big. How can I make it shorter?

PS: The button action  set variable value to 0 or 1, in order to have a "year" data or a "period" data.

Is there any other chart type that would do the same job while having nice rendering both on web and mobile app.

Thank you for the help!

Hello,

Thank you for clarifying this information. I have tested with Qlik Sense Client Managed as well and it seems that both Button and Variable Input are taking a huge space on a mobile device regardless of the size that they have in the sheet. This however is expected and if you would like some options to control how they look on a mobile device, then you can submit a feature request [1] and elaborated in detail as to why this would be beneficial for you and for other users. Another path is to take a look at the "Deploying Qlik Sense Mobile Client Managed" [2] official documentation, where it is stated that "The Qlik Sense Mobile Client Managed app allows you to securely connect to your Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows deployment from a supported mobile device."

I hope that this information is helpful.

Hello,

This is happening because you are testing your application from the mobile's browser instead of the official Qlik Sense SaaS mobile app.

Here is how the button looks like on my mobile's website:

Here is how the button looks like on the mobile's Qlik Sense SaaS official app:

As you can see the button is much smaller and more presentable.

You can try by creating an Variable input object with the configuration:

However it will not be much better on mobile's browser. As you can see, this is how it looks on the mobile's browser:

And this is how it looks on the Qlik Sense SaaS mobile app:

If you are planning to use the app on mobile devices, then I recommend testing it through the Qlik Sense app and not through mobile's browser. As you can see from the screenshots above, both solution works perfect when the app is opened with the official mobile app.

Thank you Andrey for you quick reply...But we actually use Qlik Sense Client Managed application, where the object button is not very presentable.

We don't have access to  Qlik Sense SaaS mobile app.
