Hello,
I´m working on a "migration" from Qlikview to Qlik Sense and I decided to build everything from scratch because our QV is 10 Years old and many hands had worked init.
Our case is that we have multiple columns to reduce the data a user can see (State and Sales area).
We have following types of Users:
Controlling and Finances (FINANCES): Can see every State and Sales Area
State Sales Management (SALES_MANAGER_STATE): Can see his State and all Sales Area
Salesperson (SALES_AREA_*): Can see his Sales Area
The Section Access looks like this (filled with more data and is original an excel file):
ACCESS | GROUP | USERID | STATE | SALES_AREA |
ADMIN | QS_ADMIN | * | * | * |
USER | FINANCES | * | * | * |
USER | SALES_MANAGER_STATE | * | STATE_1 | * |
USER | SALES_AREA_1 | * | STATE_1 | SALES_AREA_1 |
So when I load the Data every works fine except when the SALES User is in the Dashboard, he sees every Sales Area instead only his BUT the State is reduced. Also strange, if I reduce my admin user to a State and Sales Area, both are reduced.
I read so many Topics here but none of them has that kind of problem.
Also maybe my 2nd problem is, is it possible to set Multiple Groups like it was in Qlikview? (e.g. SALES_AREA_1;SALES_MANAGER_STATE)? I tried it, but it didn't work.
Hi @Dully ,
Can you please check userID or a group name are properly spells with the domain in the excel?

Hi @abhijitnalekar ,
oh my ... thank you. There are some states or sales area who causes this problem. Reduced the excel only to a few and it works. So now my time to find those false data.
Thank you!
Great!! Best of luck for qliksense migration.
