Table only showing values after search - Qlik Community

Hi!

I am new to this community and may have missed the answer to this question during my search efforts due to lack of understanding. I am trying to create a simple app where users may search among historical transactions. So, I loaded data into a table and the users can search for results. Simple, but ideally, the table should be empty (instead of full) when no search has been made.

What would be a typical Qlik approach for this?

you can you the Add-Ons option to specify a calculation condition, e.g.

See the simple example attached.
