Tags from apps deleted are still visible for the user

In Qlik Sense SaaS, when I delete an app that has a unique tag (i.e. it is not used in any other app in our SaaS environment), this tag can still be found by the user when using "Filter by tag".

I would expect the tag to be automatically removed from Qlik Sense SaaS, when no apps are using the tag. Otherwise, the "Filter by tag" will be very cluttered over time.

Is this a product failure that unused tags are not automatically removed from the SaaS environment?

And if not removed automatically, I would expect it to be possible in the Qlik Sense SaaS user interface to remove the tag, but this is not a product feature I have found.

Hi Patricia,

I don't see any reference to this issue on the attached link.

I too found out that tags are somewhat permanent and can't be managed after creation. I even tried to look for an api to delete thembut this is not a choice. A user could potentially abuse this functionality and create several spam tags, these will then always appear when other users enter a tag.
