What is "Alternative Dimensions" in Qlik Sense?

Can anybody please tell me what is Alternative Dimensions in Qlik Sense? What does it do?

You can add extra dimensions as alternatives so the user can choose between those dimensions to change the chart dynamically. The same can be done with measures.

Add alternative , for both dimension and mesure is a new features available in Qlik Sense

It's allow to add extra dimension for example let's say you have sales per months

You can add alternative dim for example region , so that users can change between months or regions

The same with mesures

alternative dim and mesures are clickable here : in the exploration menu
