Working with multiple developers on one app

Hi Community,

At my latest project we would like to streamline our Development process for Qlik Sense and are looking into ways to support Multiple Developers changing the same app at the same time. However this does have to be controlled in a way that no work is lost.

Does Qlik Sense support this?

I’ve seen a post about this where you share the Work stream but we simply don’t get this to work.

ASFAIK Qlik does not support multiple users editing the same report at the same time, so as a consequence if you allow the workstream to be shared, conflicts can happen, and work may be lost.
I follow this topic, to see if anyone has a solution.

What we have done is divide the work and then reintegrate it together.  A draft of the data load script with fieldnames and dummy data is created, someone else uses this to create visualizations in a separate app while work continues on the data load script.  At various times, someone pulls in the latest data load script and ties it to the visualizations.  This is not ideal, and we are searching for a way to improve the process.  In our environment most of our time is spent on the ETL (T primarily) part of the project.
