YTD, LYTD and Sales Variation

Hello everybody,

I'm going to try and do calculations on YTD, LYTD and sales variation between those two. I have a pretty good idea how to calculate the variation. However, I don't know how to calculate YTD nor LYTD.

Is there anyone that wants to give me an example or two?
