Any extensions with Geo Map animated across time period is what I am looking for
This is possible with GeoAnalytics add on. Part of this is the GeoAnaytics Animator that does exactly that, moves through the dimension values such as Year.

Also , could you let me know if this addon is charged or freely available. In case its charged could you please help me with an estimate of the same
