pass variable's value from task to the script

Hello is there a way to pass a value for a variable in the script from the running task as the case was with QlikView?
I need to run the same script but with different conditions based on the value of the variable

you can store the output of variable in CSV file and load the file and use a Peek command and read the CSV file.

Sounds this is the only way in Qlik Sense
