Hey @ all,
i have a problem with a table witch is exportet from access.
1) i started with this table in excel
2) i load this table in access
3) without to do something with the table i export the table back to excel
I can see no difference between the tables 1) and 3)
4) now i want to load the table in Qlik Sense
and i can see the last entry is wrong.
Why is there a problem with the sign '&'? Are there similar problems with other signs and
how can i avoid?
best regrads, rico
Hi Rico,
What's your load script?
Andy.
Does it work if you load directly from the initial xlsx?
hi andy,
what do you mean with "load script"??
rico
it works very well if i load directly from the initial file.
Qlik on 'Data Load Editor' and there will be a tab showing you what the load script is.
Andy
here you can see the data load editor
That looks fine, can you post the two version of the xlsx?
Andy
the initial file is called test.xlsx and the exportet file is called Tabelle1.xlsx
best regards rico
There definitely something weird about that exported file as I get the same issue as you, but also in Qlikview as well as sense.
Also if you simply re save the access produced file in excel, it seems to work fine!
Can you export from Access to CSV (p.s. I have never used ACCESS)
