set analysis on expression

hey,

i need this expression to not be impacted by any selections:

=NUM((sum(TOTAL_SALES) - sum(SALES)/ sum(TOTAL_SALES), '0.00%')

i tried:

=NUM((sum({1}TOTAL_SALES) - sum({1}SALES))/ sum({1}TOTAL_SALES), '0.00%')

but this doesnt work 

any advice is much appreciated
