i have the following use case: I want to send out an alert mail from within an automation. We have a M365 connection set up (and working) in QMC, which i cant seem to refer to in my automation. Question is: How can i use the Mail account defined in QMC in my automations ? (Background: Company policy denies using any other mail account than the one set up in QMC...)

To send an alert email using the M365 account set up in QMC, ensure the connection is working, access the automation settings in QMC, select the M365 mail account, configure the email details, and test the automation to confirm it's working. This should comply with your company policy on email accounts.

Automation is standalone, so M365 connection set in the QMC cannot be used directly.
But you can use the same provider in an email connection block.

if we use m365 provider on tenant settings but this option not supported in Qlik application automation where it only supports smtp which my org not accepted in Qlik cloud.
