Catalog and Lineage

Greetings,

I am facing an issue, after preparing data from multiple tables, when i am storing the result the tags, business name and description from source tables are not copied in the final resultant table, is there any way to enabling the metadata in data preparation, so we don't have to write all description in the new table, and it automatically gets the information from the source tables.

Hi Muhammad,

By design Catalog will not merge metadata from multiples entities to a new one as a result of a flow. I suggest you to run an import/export metadata to apply tags and other information after prepare is done.
