what are the alternatives?

I love using dbt, I'm not going to stop using it any time soon. I can easily explain where it lives in the Modern Data Stack / ELT style of doing data engineering AND I can explain the features and benefits. BUT, in a meeting earlier today I was asked what are the alternatives to dbt? As in ... for E & L you can use FiveTran or Hevo or Stitch, for database you can use AWS RedShift or GBQ or Snowflake, but for T ..... I can only think of dbt - is there any alternative? (and to define that a bit better - any software that can transform data in SQL, cloud-based)
