Connecting to Qlik MCP

You must have authorization in your tenant to create a connection to an MCP server.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Administration → Manage Users → Permissions → Create New.
  2. Create a name for your new role.
  3. Click on Features and actions → Agentic AI, and set MCP to Allowed.
  4. Click Confirm.

Next, return to the Permissions page, find the role you just created, and assign it to your user.

After completing these steps, try connecting again.
