Connecting to Sharepoint using SSO

My customer is using sharepoint using SSO, which means they do not have the username and password to login to sharepoint.  However, using the sharepoint connector it requires username and password.  Is there any workaround on this?

What's the IDP that the customer is using? 
Have they tried using the same user that they use to log in to Windows?
