Custom Connector not showing

Hi, I have a developer that is trying to create a custom connector in Qlik Sense on windows (June 2020).

I have followed the instructions and copied the files to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data\<name of connector>      on both nodes of the Qlik instance.

We were expecting the connector to show as a data source when creating a new connection, is this correct?

At this stage we are stumped as to why it is not showing, so any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi @shaun_lombard Did you restart the Qlik services (I think restarting the 'Qlik Sense Repository Database' restarts a group of services which cause new connectors to be picked up).

Also - you may/should find log files in:
C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\ConnectorRegistryProxy

Which indicate the connector has been picked up? (not sure if you sometimes need to wait a short time for this to be updated).

Thanks, the restart did the trick and have found that by just restarting the engine the connector will be picked up.

Also handy to know about the logs.
