This has happened several times over the past year, with different apps connecting to the same data source server (Oracle). Appreciate any hints or leads.
Data load fails.
In Data Manager: "Data load failed. Resolve the problems and refresh the data."
In Data Load Editor: "The error occurred here: SELECT x,y,z FROM x"... no other details
However
I’m still able to use the same connection to add the same table/s within the same app.
I’m still able to refresh other apps that connects to the same data source server; one such app is actually on daily refresh schedule and has been running without issues for the past 2 months.
Neither my Windows nor data server login credentials (username, password) have changed since the last successful data refresh (about 2 weeks ago).
Frequency
This has happened a few times over the past year, at irregular intervals, with different apps, and also with one other colleague with similar access profiles.
Workaround
Re-add all tables… in Data Manager, delete the tables, then add them back again and re-create all associations and field name aliases.
