How to Connect Local Excels files in Qlik sense Cloud.

I have a virtual machine with some Excel (.xls) files saved in a local folder.
I manually upload these files using the Data Manager in Qlik Sense to create an app.

However, when I reload the app, it fetches data from the uploaded file stored under 'Data Files' within Qlik Sense, rather than from the original source file in the local folder.

As a result, any changes made to the original Excel file (or if I replace it with a new version) are not reflected in the app after a reload.

I would like the app to always load the most recent data from the source Excel file in the local folder on the VM.
How can I achieve this?

I installed Qlik gateway Direct Access. I am not able to find Config-file-Connector.Properties.

when we select File connector (Direct access) in qlik cloud we can see the gateway but in folder path we not seeing anything its empty

Maybe try to update or install Qlik Data Gateway,

I am getting above files. Do i need to install gateway again.
How can i uninstall it ?

i am getting file configuration-file-connector.properties and i added folder path for local folder in it.
Also i checked for security on folders.

I am able to see Gateway name but not able to see folder path.

Does the gateway appear online in the administration console on qlik cloud ? :
