Iam not able to connect Microsoft SQL server

Hi , 

I am trying to create a connection with the Microsoft SQL server.

FYI - I am using SSMS which is installed in my local.  As I am learning , so i do not have any access to client DB. 

I tried to pass n no of server names but still iam getting the above mentioned error .

It looks like you are not pointing to the correct server name but the instance name.

Please review the following page and find the server name.

thanks @Ayaka_Hanazono  for replying . i see .

but if you check my ssms snapshot then you will find this is my server name only . I referred your link . Its showing the same .
